Everyone Can Ride

Claremont Dial-a-Ride is open to everyone - children, youth, adults, and seniors traveling within the Dial-a-Ride service area.  (Children under six must be accompanied by an adult).

New Registration Requirements

Beginning July 1, 2011, riders will need to register and use a unique identification number when reserving rides.  Dial-a-Ride users will need to provide a name, address and year of birth and phone number to register.  Riders can register by mail, phone or in person.  In person and mail-in registration will be taken at the Alexander Hughes Center located at 1700 Danbury Road, Claremont, CA 91711.  You can register by phone by calling (909) 399-5490.  In person and phone in registration is available Monday-Friday 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  An identification card and unique identification number will be mailed to riders after they complete the registration process.

Riders under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian's signature on the registration form giving consent to the City of Claremont and Pomona Valley Transportation Authority to obtain the rider's personal information.

Riders already registered for PVTA's Get About service will be automatically registered for the Claremont Dial-a-Ride and do not need to complete another registration form.  Persons over 60 years of age and individuals with disabilities can continue to register for Get About by calling (909) 621-9900.
